4-8 lb. inexpensive beef roast
1-2 packages Au Jus Gravy mix
Sliced Onion

Directions:
Directions:
Slice roast into 1/3 to 1/2 inch slices that fit a hamburger bun. Put sliced onion in bottom of a roasting pan. Lay beef on top. Prepare Au Jus according to package instructions. Pour over meat. Cover and bake in oven at 325º for four hours or until meat is fork tender.

Can also be made on top of the stove or in a crock pot. Can use cornstarch dissolved in water (see back of box for instructions) to thicken the au jus at the end to make hot roast beef sandwiches. Leftover au jus makes a great broth for soup.
