1 head lettuce, broken up
1/2 C. chopped celery
1/2 C. chopped green pepper
1/2 C. sweet white onion, chopped
1 box frozen peas, cooked and cooled
8 slices of bacon, fried, and crumbled
4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
DRESSING:
2 C. mayonnaise
2 to 3 T. sugar
1 T. white vinegar
1 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Layer in bowl the first six ingredients. Mix the dressing ingredients. Add cheese to top of salad; cover with dressing completely sealing to edges. Refrigerate overnight. Cover tightly with lid or plastic wrap.
