1 cup of sugar
1 cup of oil
2 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Beat first three ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Spread half of batter in a 9x13" pan. Spread one can of cherry pie filling over the batter in the pan, then pour remaining batter over top of cherries. The remaining batter may not completely cover all the cherries or may just be a thin covering-that's ok. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the batter is lightly browned.
