11/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups butter
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
2 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups tart cherries,pitted
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º
Cream sugar and butter well.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Mix slowly to integrate dry ingredients into butter mix, alternating with buttermilk.
Stir in cherries.
Spoon into muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 15-20 minutes until toothpick comes out dry......
