2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 t. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and salt. Beat butter, sugar and egg in lg. bowl until fluffy; blend in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture to make a stiff dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 2 hours until firm enough to roll. Roll dough 1/4 at a time on a floured surface and cut in shapes with cookie cutter. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove from pan and cool before decorating with Royal Frosting.
