1 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 c. any cooked or fresh fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Melt the butter in a 2 qt. baking dish. (do not let get very hot.) Over this butter, pour the flour mixture. Over this, pour fruit. (If fresh fruit is used, sweeten to taste.) DO NOT STIR.
Bake at 350º for about an hour.
