1st layer - 1/2 cup diced celery ( or more of each)
2nd layer - 1/2 cup diced green pepper
3rd layer - 1/2 cup diced Spanish (green) onions
4th layer - 1 package of frozen green peas (cooked, but don't overcook - don't need to cool)
5th layer - 1 pint mayonnaise - spread over, then sprinkle 2 T. sugar over the mayo
6th layer -1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
7th layer- 13 strips of fried bacon, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Use large glass salad bowl - Fill 1/2 full with broken lettuce / greens.
Place the above layers on top of lettuce. ( lettuce will not turn brown)
Chill 8 hours, at least. Keeps great 3 days - don't mix, leave in layers.
