4 -8 oz. cans oysters
2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 T. pepper1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Drain liquid from oysters reserving 1/2 c. Place 1 1/4c. bread crumbs in a well greased 2 qt. square baking dish. or 8 x8 pan Place 1/2 of oysters on top .sprinkle 1/2 of the pepper , drizzle 3T. butter over the oysters repeat again bread ,pepper , butter. Combined oyster juice ,milk together pour over layers .Bake uncovered at 400 for 30 min.. or top is golden brown
