French bread sliced into 1/2"
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 c. jam (any flavor)
5 eggs beaten
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tbsp. margarine
4 tsp. sifted powder sugar (topping)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread cream cheese on 1 slice of bread and spread jam on the other slice. Form sandwiches with the cream cheese and jam together.
In a bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and almond extract.
Melt the margarine in the pan or you can spray it with cooking spray. Dip each side of the sandwich in the egg mixture trying not to get it in the center of the sandwich place on skillet and cook about 3 minutes on each side.
Sprinkle with powder sugar and serve with syrup.
