½ cup Crisco shortening
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup flour
TOPPING:
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon

Prehat oven to 350F. Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add buttermilk, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. Grease and flour loaf pan. Divide in half; divide in half again, and place one half in pan. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle half on dough. Put the other half of dough in pan. Sprinkle with the rest of the topping. Take a knife and make a swirl affect several times. Bake for 1 hour. Let sit 15 minutes, remove et allow to cool.
