1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 egg plus 1 egg white
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
Whipped cream, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugars and flour. Add egg, egg white, applesauce, milk and vanilla; mix well. Stir in walnuts. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 375º for 40-45 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream if desired. Store in refrigerator.
