1 lb. Butter
1 box Cornstarch
1 C. Sugar
3-1/2+ C. Flour
Cream
Salt (if using unsalted butter)
3 Tbsp. shortening (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
300º-325º 25"-45"

Cream butter and sugar
Add cornstarch.
Add flour incrementally and knead thoroughly.
If too dry, add cream by 1/4-tsp.
Roll out 1/2" thick and cut w/cookie cutters.
Use a fork to prick surface.
Sprinkle w/candies.
