1 16 oz can peaches
1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 c milk
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter
1/2 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan over medium heat cook fruit until boiling. Set aside. Combine flour, sugar, milk, baking powder and salt. In a 2 quart greased casserole dish, melt butter. Pour batter over butter. Add peaches. Do not stir. Sprinkle 1/2 c sugar over entire casserole. Bake at 400º for 20-30 minutes.
