2 lb. pkg hash brown potatoes (thawed)
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onions (optional)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream (2 cups or 16 oz)
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Topping:
2 - 3 cups corn flakes (crunched up)
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together and place in an oblong
(8 x 12) pyrex baking dish. Combine corn flakes and butter, spread evenly over casserole and bake at 350º with foil cover for about 45 - 60 minutes. Remove foil to brown top in the last few minutes.
