2 pounds ground chuck
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp prepared horseradish
2 tsp minced garlic
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 (8 oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 (10.5 oz) can French onion soup
1 (10.5 oz) can beef consommé

In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, garlic, salt and pepper. Form mixture into 6 patties. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add patties, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove patties from pan; set aside. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Add mushrooms to skillet, and cook until tender. Add flour, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Stir in soup and consommé. Return patties to pan; bring to a simmer. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes, or until patties are cooked through and sauce is thickened. Serve immediately.
