1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 t. baking soda dissolved in pulp
2 c. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add nuts and raisins to flour. Beat egg and add to pulp. Add mixture to dry ingredients and drop on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes.
