1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped fine
Frosting:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring
water
green and red food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat in flour, vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Make thurmb print in each cookie. Bake at 300º for 20-30 minutes. Remove and cool to decorate.
Frosting: Mix powdered sugar and almond flavoring with water and food coloring to make it drop from spoon to cookie. Use green and red food coloring.
