1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. boiling water
small onion
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 medium potatoes, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in shortening. To boiling water, add onion and simmer for 5 minutes. Add soup, salt & pepper.

Layer potatoes, beef, soup mixture in dish. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
