For Cake:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick of butter or margarine
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda ( I add this to my buttermilk)
1 tso. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk (if you don't have buttermilk, just add fresh squeezed lemon to milk and this will make buttermilk)

For Icing:

1 stick butter or margarine
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1+ c. chopped pecans


Directions:
Directions:
Sift together and put in large bowl, the flour and sugar,
Mix in a saucepan 1 stick of butter;3tbsp cocoa and l c. water, Bring to a rapid boil and pour over flour and sugar mixture and stir. Add buttermilk, cinnamon eggs, soda and vanilla.
Pour into ungreasedpan and bake20 minutes at 400
(Best cooked in a jelly roll pan)

Icing:
Melt and bring to a rapid boil the butter, cocoa and milk- remove from heat and add the powdered sugar and vanilla.
Beat well, then add 1 c. chopped pecans; mix well and spread over cake while still slightly warm
