1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 cups sifted flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 3/4 cup raisins, 1 - 8 ounce - can crushed pineapple- well drained - save juice for icing

Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Add raisins and crushed pineapple.
Drop dough by tsp onto greased cookie sheets in 375º for 10 to 12 minutes.
