1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup warm water
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, starch and salt together in a saucepan. Add water and stir and cook over medium heat until smooth and thick.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla and stir until mixed.

Serve over plain white or yellow cake instead of using icing.
