6 slices of day old bread - cut into cubes
3/4 cup of raisins
2 cups of milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Butter or spray a one quart casserole. Combine bread and raisins in dish. Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over bread. Let stand 5 minutes. Bake, uncovered for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Serve warm or cool or with ice cream.
