1/2 C. sugar
1 C. evaporated milk
1 heaping tsp margarine

1 C. chopped dates
1 C. chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars, milk & margarine, bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Add the dates and cook to hard boil. Add nuts and vanilla.

Remove from heat and beat until stiff. Roll in damp cloth, let set for one hour before slicing.
