1 C. brown sugar
1 C. white sugar
1 C. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbs milk
2 C. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 C. quick oats

Raisins, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips or whatever you want to add!

Directions:

Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs, vanilla and milk. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add chips; nuts, raisins or candy bits as desired.

Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes
