Crust:
3 cups flour
1/2 cup, plus 2 tsp sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt

Filling:
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
3 Tbsps butter, melted
1 1/2 tsps vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

For crust: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease
15" x 10" x 1" jelly roll pan. Beat flour, sugar, butter, and salt in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until dry and crumbly. Press firmly in pan and bake until lightly brown, about 20 minutes.

For filling: Combine and mix eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and pecans. Pour over baked crust layer, spreading evenly. Bake until filling is set, about 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 1/2" squares.
