1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup all-bran cereal, wheat germ or bran
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped dates or flaked coconut
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup defrosted apple juice concentrate
2 tsp. vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine oats, flour, cereal or bran, raisins, dates or coconut, walnuts and cinnamon in the mixing bow. Drizzle liquid ingredients over mixture. Stir until mixed well.
2. Spread half of the mixture evenly on each cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir granola.
3. Return cookie sheets to oven and bake 8 minutes more. Watch carefully to be sure granola does not burn.
