3 cups dry rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup all-bran cereal, wheat germ or bran
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped dates or flaked coconut
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup defrosted apple juice concentrate
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine oats, flour, cereal or bran, raisins, dates or coconut, walnuts and cinnamon in the mixing bow. Drizzle liquid ingredients over mixture. Stir until mixed well.
2. Spread half of the mixture evenly on each cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir granola.
3. Return cookie sheets to oven and bake 8 minutes more. Watch carefully to be sure granola does not burn.
4. When granola is finished baking remove from oven and stir. Let cook on cookie sheets 15 minutes before eating or storing. Store granola up to 3 months in an airtight container.
