2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 rsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 tsp. grated onion
1 cup sour cream
4 cups cooked green beans, drained French style
1/2 pound grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 2 tbsp. melted butter. Stir in flour , salt, pepper,sugar and onion. Add sour cream gradually
until thickened. Fold in green beans, heat. Pour into 1 1/2 quart grease casserole. Sprinkle grated cheese over beans. Mix bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over cheese if desired. Bake 20 minutes at
400º.
