6 eggs
oil for frying

Directions:
Combine eggs and flour making a workable dough adding a bit of water, if necessary. Knead until blisters form on dough. Let rest several hours or overnight. Cut off about 1/4 of dough and roll thin. Cut into 2-inch strips. Cut strips into 3-inch pieces. Make slit in center and pull one end through slit. Deep fry about one minute turning once. Drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar.

This recipe is from an old women's club cookbook. I've never made them, but I love the name and the utter simplicity of the ingredients! Let me know if you try them.
