1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon extract
4 eggs
3 c flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 tsp soda
1 c strawberry jam
1/2 c sour cream

Cinnamon Butter
1/2 c butter (1 stick), softened
1 c confectioner sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Use an electric mixer and mix butter, sugar, vanilla, lemon extract until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. With a wooden spoon mix in the remaining ingredients. You can add nuts if you like ( 1/2 c pecans).
Pour into well greased loaf pans. Pans should be about half full depending on the size of the pan it may be 2 or more. Bake 350º for 45 min or until a butter knife comes out clean. This really depends on the size of the pans.

Cinnamon Butter
Mix all ingredients and store in the refrigerator

Cil and I made this alot at Christmas time and gave it away in small loaf size. Well I gave it away -I think Cil just ate hers-ha!
