1 can Carnation evaporated milk (11oz.)
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs (beaten)
3/4 c. stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sweetened coconut
2 1/4 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cook milk, sugar, eggs, butter over medium heat, stir until thicken(about 12 minutes), then remove from heat. Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Stir until thick enough to spread without running. Spread on double layer cake or a sheet cake. Takes about 20 minutes (give or take) to make it. Don't add vanilla before cooking as it will cook out .

I use German Chocolate cake mix. I bake it in cookie sheet (with sides) or jelly roll pan. This makes it like most people like it a little cake and lot of icing. Recipe came from back of German Chocolate wrapper I go from Grandma Ruby Sowers. Enjoy !!!!!
