2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. sale
1/2 cup cocoa
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and sift together. Alternate sour milk with dry ingredients. Add 1 cup boiling water and beat 5-7 minutes. Place in greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350º till done (test with toothpick and finger) about 30 minutes. Frost.
