6 apples
Sugar
1 pt milk
2 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs

Sauce:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pare apples and take out the core without breaking them. Fill with sugar, after placing the apples in an earthen pudding dish. Make a batter of the milk, flour and eggs. Pour over the apples and bake @ 350º until fruit is soft. Serve with the cream sauce.

Cream Sauce
Beat butter until very light; add powdered sugar and cream. Set dish in a basin of hot water and stir until creamy. This will only take 1-2 minutes.
