Sweet Potato Dumplings Recipe

2 packages Crescent rolls
1 (8oz) package frozen sweet potato patties, thawed
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 sticks butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cut patties in half and roll each half in a triangle of crescent roll. Place in a 13x9x2" pan. On stove, combine sugar, water and butter. Remove 1/2 c. and let cool. Combine flour with it and then add back to mixture. Add vanilla, let mixture thicken. Pour over dumplings. Bake @ 375 for 45 minutes. Spoon mixture over dumplings when serving. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar on top.
