1-1 1/2 lbs cooked butter beans. drained
1 sm (15-16 oz) cans of Mexican tomatoes
8 or 12 oz Mexican cheese, grated
1 pkg Mexican cornbread mix
1-2 onions
1 1/2-2 lbs ground beef

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef with onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain grease. Add tomatoes. Heat. In lg pan (13x9x2") put layer of cooked butter beans. Pour the beef mixture over the butter beans. Next, sprinkle the cheese over the mixture. Mix the cornbread by package directions. Pour cornbread mixture over the cheese. Bake @ 400 for 25 minutes, or until top is browned and cornbread appears to be done.
