1 cup self rising cornmeal
1 egg
2 tbsp. flour
Buttermilk
3 tbsp. melted Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Mill all ingredients in a 2 cup measuring cup. Add just enough buttermilk to moisten enough to pour easily onto griddle or skillet. Melt Crisco in skillet or on griddle. Pour batter onto griddle as you would a pancake. Turn when brown on bottom side.
