11 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk, scalded and cooled slightly
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. Spry (shortening), melted

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks and sugar until light in color and fluffy. Add milk; add vanilla. Mix well. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to liquid mixture. Add Spry, folded in. Bake in 2 layer pans at 350 degrees until done.
