3 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
4 ounces (squares) chocolate
1 cup shortening (melted)
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla

ICING
2 or 3 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
HOT water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder (I just stir). Melt chocolate and add to melted shortening. Add sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla, then add sifted ingredients. Let stand for 10 minutes. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet and bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Cool and frost with icing.

Icing:
Whip butter with mixer until fluffy. Add icing sugar and 3 tbsp water and beat. Add water by teaspoon if you need more until the right spreading consistency.
