4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. lard or butter
1 tsp. soda
2/3 c. sour milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, lard, soda and nutmeg together. Cream the sugar, eggs and milk together. Mix dough until soft. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees edges are lightly browned.
