2 lbs spareribs
1/2 cup light molasses
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 garlic clove, minced
3 whole garlic cloves
4 strips orange rind (narrow)
juice of 1/2 orange
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 Tbsp salad oil
1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp bottled thick meat sauce
1/2 tsp worcesterchire sauce
1/4 tsp tobasco sauce
1 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Place spareribs in shallow oven pan; cover with foil. Roast 1/2 hour. Pour off fat. Roast 1/2 hour longer.
Sauce: combine molasses and rest of ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Pour off excess fat from ribs; cover with sauce. Increase oven temperature to 400ºF. Roast spareribs, uncovered, basting often, for 45 minutes or until fork-tender, very brown, and glazed.
