Ingredients:  
4 C flour
2 2/3 C brown sugar
2 T baking soda
1 C buttermilk
1 C lard
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300
Mix all ingredients together - add more flour if mixture is too wet (up to 3 more cups if needed)

Put batter in small pie pans.
Bake for 30-40 min.
When done it will be more like a cookie than a cake. Break into pieces and eat up.
