1 pkg rapid rise yeast
1 1/4 C. warm water
1 egg
1/4 C. oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 C. sugar
3 1/2 -4 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast with warm water until softened. Add egg, shorting, salt, sugar. Add flour until a soft dough is obtained (soft but not sticky). Knead briefly until smooth.

Let rise until approx. doubled in bulk. Make rolls and let rise again.

Bake at 350 until done.

This is a quick good yeast roll. Not as good as Dorothy Braymans rolls, but good when time is an issue.

There are times that I have not let rise before making into rolls and I really can't tell the difference. Be sure and let rise before baking tho!
