1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
6 oz. grated low fat cheddar cheese
1 package onion soup mix
1 package refrigerated Pillsbury® crescent rolls (8 per package)
1 egg yolk
2 T. milk
sesame and poppy seeds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground meat in skillet and drain liquid off. Add cheese and dry soup mix to beef and stir together. Cover and cook briefly until cheese melts, then remove from stove top. Unroll and separate the crescent rolls. Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture in the middle of each roll. Fold up to make a triangle with beef in middle. Combine egg yolk and milk in small bowl. Glaze knishes with egg/milk mixture. Place on baking sheet and top with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired. Bake at 350⁰ until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Variations: Use mashed potatoes instead of beef and cheese mixture.
