1 lb. flaked coconut
18 oz. package Rice Chex cereal
1 lb. slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups white Karo syrup
3/4 cup butter
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Chex cereal, coconut, and almonds. Boil sugar and Karo syrup in medium saucepan –remove from stove and add butter, almond extract, and baking soda. Stir well; pour over cereal mixture. Place on cookie sheets and let stand overnight. Store in covered containers as this can dry out and possible chip a tooth when it dries out!
