"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Hot Bean Dip, by Dale Taylor, is from Pfeiffer Pfamily Cookbook 2011,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage 1 (1 lb.) can refried beans 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies 1 (15 oz.) can Manwich sauce 2 cups cubed jack cheese
Brown the sausage, then add the beans chilies and Manwich sauce. Heat through and stir in the cheese. Heat until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
This is a great recipe from my mother Jeaquetta Taylor. We make this and serve it in a small crock pot at parties with tortilla and or corn chips. Your friends will rave over this dip. Dale is Tom and Jackie Taylor's son
