1 whole chicken
1- 12 oz can of beer
Montreal Chicken spice for dry rub

Glaze
6 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 cloves garlic crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Rub spice over chicken , Make extra holes in top of beer and drink off a bit, Place bird over can .
Light one side of the BBQ and place bird on opposite side.
Cook for 2 hours
Bring glaze to a boil , reduce heat and simmer for 5 mins , Can be made ahead and cooled before basting chicken or put on warm.
The last half hour base the chicken with the glaze
