1 large Egg White
1/4 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Chili Powder
1/4 tsp. ground Allspice
1/2 tsp. ground Cumin
1 3/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
2 1/2 c. mix of Pecans, Cashews, Walnuts, Almonds

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º.

Beat egg white until foamy. Combine all remaining ingredients, except nuts, into egg white and whisk well. Stir in nuts until well coated.

Spread mixture in single layer on an ungreased baking pan.

Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and use a metal spatula to toss and stir nuts and to separate.

Reduce oven temp. to 250º and return nuts to bake until medium brown, around 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and toss and stir the nuts. Place baking sheet on a wire rack to cool. When cooled, break-up any nuts that stick together.

Store in an airtight container.

These are great for an hors d'oeuvre or just snacking. If you don't like spicy you can leave the Cayenne Pepper out.
