1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans
1 clove garlic, minced
2 T. chopped onion
3 T. olive oil
1/2 c. boiling water
1 T. fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and trim beans.

Saute garlic and onion in hot oil until tender. Add beans, boiling water, basil, salt, sugar and pepper.

Cover and cook over medium heat 20-25 minutes or until beans are tender.
