6 - 8 pork chops
1 c uncooked rice
1 pkg dried onion soup
2-1/2 c boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy skillet with lid, sear and brown pork chops. Remove chops to plate; brown rice in drippings. Sprinkle onion soup over browned rice. Arrange chops over rice and cover all with boiling water. Put lid on pan and simmer (covered) on stove 45-60 minutes. If pan is not large enough, arrange in casserole dish and cook in oven (covered) at 350 for 45-60 minutes
