1 lb. pecans
1 egg white and 1 tsp. water, whisked together until frothy
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Coat pecans well in egg white mixture. Combine sugar, salt and cinnamon. Pour sugar mixture over pecans and stir to coat well. Spread pecans in single layer on an ungreased, rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 250⁰ for 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.

Splenda can be substituted for part or all of the sugar with good results.
