1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp maple flavoring
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Maple Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp milk or maple syrup
1/4 tsp maple flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. In a measuring cup mix milk and maple flavoring. Beat into butter mixture alternatively with the flour mixture. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in 1 1/2 cup walnuts. Turn into a greased 9 or 10 in tube pan. Bake in the lower third of the over at 300º for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake is clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Then turn onto rack to cool. Maple Glaze: In a small bowl mix powder sugar and milk until smooth. Add maple flavoring and drizzle over cake.
